Biography
Peter became a lawyer because he loves nothing more than finding creative and elegant solutions to complex problems.  As a second year law student, Peter began working with Esse Law as a research clerk and was drawn to the firm because no one produces interesting problems quite like envelope-pushing start-ups and social entrepreneurs.

Since graduating UCI Law (where he was the first JD candidate to graduate early), his role with Esse Law has been steadily expanding, from research clerk to associate.  Peter's practice includes intellectual property, with a focus on trademark prosecution and defense, contract drafting and negotiation, and maintaining the Esse Law ethos of building a strong legal foundation for its clients.

Before starting down the legal path, Peter worked as a technical writer at a tech start-up in Silicon Valley and freelanced as an editor and translator. He loves working with innovators and growth companies because it's a good way to stay tech-adjacent without having to learn any math.
